What are the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer?

- Constant bloating (swollen tummy)
- feeling full quicker than normal or not wanting to eat
- Pelvic/abdominal pain (pain from the tummy to the top of the thighs)
- Needing to wee more often
There will usually be new symptoms – not something that has been happening for a while
It will usually happen a lot through 1 month, it may be a good idea to monitor/write down your symptoms and work out the frequency of them.
**If you are regularly eperiencing these symptoms, it does not mean that you have ovarian cancer. However, it is always best to get checked**
What tests may be used to check your symptoms;
- Blood tests
- Ultrasound scans
- Transvaginal scan (internal scan)
The clinician will discuss any family history of cancer and your health history. Such as smoking, diet, alcohol status etc.
