  • Constant bloating (swollen tummy)

  • Pelvic/abdominal pain (pain from the tummy to the top of the thighs)
  • Needing to wee more often

There will usually be new symptoms – not something that has been happening for a while

It will usually happen a lot through 1 month, it may be a good idea to monitor/write down your symptoms and work out the frequency of them.

**If you are regularly eperiencing these symptoms, it does not mean that you have ovarian cancer. However, it is always best to get checked**

What tests may be used to check your symptoms;

  • Blood tests
  • Ultrasound scans
  • Transvaginal scan (internal scan)

The clinician will discuss any family history of cancer and your health history. Such as smoking, diet, alcohol status etc.
