How Do I Make An Appointment?

baby1Patients can now book their appointments online. To register patients will need to call into the surgery for their unique secure password.

You can make an appointment with the Doctor, Practice Nurse or Health Care Support Worker by telephone 01782 544466 or by calling in person when the reception is open.

You have a right to express a preference of practitioner and we will do our best to give you an appointment with the health professional of your choice.  Should your preferred Doctor not have a free appointment you will be offered an appointment with one of the other GPs in the practice.

You will never be refused access to a Doctor if one is available. If we are overbooked, or if it is more convenient for you, we can often give you an appointment with the extended access service, here you can see a Health Care Support Worker, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse for a range of conditions and procedures.

We will never refuse to see and assess a child who is ill, or who is thought to be ill.

If you feel your consultation may be lengthy or complicated, please ask the Receptionist for a DOUBLE APPOINTMENT when you book. Ten minutes per problem is a very short time for a GP to see, assess, record and advise a management plan for a patient, and GPs really need that time to maximise safety and minimise risk.
